Watch As We Build Sensible Green Website For Dave and Ray

Filed under: Clients, Projects — Nate @ 5:48 pm

As many of you know, Ray Miller hired me to build the new website for the Green Remodeling business that he and Dave  have started… www.sensiblegreenremodeling.com I thought perhaps some of you would be interested to see how it looks as we move forward with the design and functionality of the site.

You are welcome to give your input, ask questions and post your comments here on my Elk River Online Business Mastermind website. As this website and the monthly meetings I hold in Elk River at Caribou Coffee are referred to as The Mastermind Group for Online Businesses I think it is only right to let you provide your ideas and feedback here for this project and others that I might post here from time-to-time.

If you would like help with a new or existing website project please Contact Me. I would be happy to join you over a cup of coffee anytime to discuss it.

My First Website Client – The Bank of Elk River

Filed under: Clients — admin @ 9:40 am

Some of you have heard me share in person or at workshops about how I got started doing websites. My story includes how I helped my local bank, The Bank of Elk River, to become the second bank in the state of Minnesota to have their own website. I started working with them in late 1994 and by early 1995 we had the website online for those who were already on the WWW (World Wide Web) to find us.

The image below is from about 1997. You can see the site that has been saved in the Internet archive website.

the-bank-er

If you click on the image you will be able to see much of the site they way
it looked back then. The old URL was www.the-bank-er.com
The current site is here: https://www.thebankofelkriver.com

I also helped the City of Elk River with their first website along with several other area businesses. My company name then was GTA Business Solutions (GTA was short for Griner Telecom Associates). Here is the archive link to the old City of Elk River website from about 1997.
